FREE ADMISSION TICKETS - This event is free to attend, but you will still need to register for your free tickets by ordering them from this page. Just order them like a normal ticket, however, you will not be charged.

Set in the stunning surroundings of Beacon Park, this free open-air concert features spectacular live performances by the British Police Symphony Orchestra, rousing proms favourites, and a show-stopping firework finale.

Pack a picnic, bring your blankets, or upgrade with a gazebo or VIP table experience Enjoy an incredible evening of classical music with flag-waving favourites Browse delicious street food vendors and bars Enjoy family-friendly entertainment and live acts throughout the evening

Whether you’re a lifelong classical fan or simply love a great night out, Lichfield Proms is the perfect way to say farewell to summer with friends and family. Dress for the occasion, wave your Union Flags, and sing your heart out!

The City of Lichfield Concert Band warm up the crowd as they find their places from 6pm, and the main concert by the British Police Symphony Orchestra from 7.30pm.

1. Tickets & Bookings

  • All tickets are sold subject to availability.
  • Tickets must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
  • Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation by the organiser.
  • Please check your booking carefully. It is your responsibility to ensure the details are correct.

2. Admission

  • A valid ticket must be presented for entry.
  • The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who cannot provide valid proof of booking.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • The organiser aims to make Proms in Beacon Park as accessible as possible for all attendees. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us in advance to discuss your needs.

3. Seating & Pitches

  • Reserved seating and pitches (tables, deck chairs, gazebo pitches) are allocated as specified in your booking.
  • You must only use the seating/pitch you have booked.
  • Gazebo pitches are bring-your-own only — gazebos are not provided by the organiser.

4. Event Changes & Cancellation

  • In the unlikely event that the Proms in Beacon Park is cancelled by the organiser, you will be offered a full refund for the ticket price paid.
  • The organiser is not liable for travel or accommodation costs.
  • The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme or line-up if necessary.

5. Weather

  • This is an outdoor event and will go ahead in most weather conditions.
  • Please dress appropriately for the forecast. No refunds will be issued due to adverse weather unless the event is cancelled for safety reasons.

6. Safety & Conduct

  • Attendees must follow all safety instructions given by event staff and security.
  • Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
  • No unauthorised trading or commercial activity is permitted on site.

7. Prohibited Items

  • The following items are strictly prohibited: weapons, illegal drugs, fireworks, and any other items deemed dangerous by the organiser.
  • Bringing your own food and drink may be restricted; please refer to the event guidance closer to the date.
  • Bag checks may be conducted at entry points for safety reasons.

8. Personal Property

  • Attendees are responsible for their own belongings. The organiser accepts no liability for any loss or damage to personal property.

9. Data Protection

  • The event may be photographed or filmed for promotional use. By attending, you consent to your image being used in future marketing by Lichfield District Council.
  • Any personal data collected during the ticket purchase process will be handled in line with UK data protection regulations.
  • By purchasing tickets for this event, you are agreeing to be contacted about this and future events.

10. Payment Methods

  • Payments must be made securely through the designated booking platform via credit/debit card.
  • The organiser does not accept cash payments for advance bookings.
