Street Jam Festival newly established dance competition that pride itself in providing a quality competition, which creates an encouraging space for dancers to gain confidence, feel inspired and showcase their talent in a friendly, competitive dance environment.

Rules & Regulations:

  • Dance teachers should have the correct insurance policies in place to attend dance events with their school, this will include relevant exemptions and licenses which is done through your local council.
  • Each dance school can only enter 1 routine per age category No dancer should perform with an injury or sprain.
  • Foul language or aggressive behaviour is not tolerated. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in your school being disqualified from the competition.
  • All music must be relevant for specific age groups. Profanities and referrals of a sexual nature are not acceptable.
  • Costumes must be of appropriate attire.
  • Acrobatics are permitted during routines as long as they are performed safely.
  • 5 points will be deducted from the overall score if any movements are deemed unsafe.
  • The use of props is permitted.
  • The judges’ decisions are final.

Judging the competition on the day will be Josh Wharmby, Eleanor Bailey & Marlon "Swoosh" Wallen.

This event will be hosted at the NEC in Section N5 of the site. The NEC is one of the most accessible sites in the UK, with train links, motorways, and onsite hotels. Plus, the whole festival site is on concrete so no muddy boots! Here is a look at the site designs for the show at the NEC.

Event Ticket Terms and Conditions

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before purchasing tickets for our event:

  1. Ticket Categories:

    • Adult Tickets: Valid for individuals aged 16 and above.
    • Child Tickets: Valid for individuals aged 5 to 16.
    • Children Under 5: Free admission, however a ticket is still required.

 

  1. Non-Refundable Tickets:

    • All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed due to force majeure. Force majeure includes but is not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, government restrictions, and other unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

 

  1. Force Majeure:

    • In the event of force majeure, we reserve the right to reschedule the event or provide alternative arrangements. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund process will be initiated.

 

  1. Ticket Display:

    • Tickets do not need to display the correct customer name. However, each ticket is valid for a single entry per the designated age category.

 

  1. Lost or Stolen Tickets:

    • We are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Please keep your tickets in a safe place. Duplicate tickets will not be issued.

 

  1. Event Entry:

    • A valid ticket is required for entry to the event. Please have your ticket ready for inspection upon arrival.

 

  1. Age Verification:

    • Attendees may be required to provide identification for age verification. Please bring a valid ID for entry if requested.

 

  1. Event Rules and Regulations:

    • By attending the event, attendees agree to abide by the event rules and regulations, as well as any instructions or guidelines provided by event staff.

 

  1. Event Changes:

    • We reserve the right to make changes to the event program, schedule, or venue. Any significant changes will be communicated to ticket holders in a timely manner.

 

  1. Recording and Photography:

    • The event may be recorded or photographed for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image or likeness in promotional materials.

 

  1. Prohibited Items:

    • Certain items may be prohibited from entry. Please refer to the NEC website or contact us for a list of prohibited items.

 

  1. Ticket Transfer:

    • Tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. However, selling tickets for profit is strictly prohibited.
