Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the On Tick platform and the purchase of tickets through it. By using On Tick or buying a ticket, you accept them.

Effective: 8 June 2026 Last updated: 8 June 2026 Provider: On Tick Ltd

On Tick is operated by On Tick Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12501084). Registered office: Carter House, G2 Wyvern Court, Stanier Way, Derby, England, DE21 6BF. Trading address: Unit A2, Optimum Business Park, Optimum Road, Swadlincote, South Derbyshire, DE11 0WT. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean On Tick Ltd, and "you" means the person using the platform or buying a ticket.

1 About these terms

These terms apply whenever you visit ontick.co.uk, register an account, or buy or register for a ticket through us. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the platform.

They should be read together with our Privacy Policy, any terms shown to you at checkout, and the specific terms set by the organiser of the event you are booking. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2 Our role

For most events, On Tick acts as a booking agent on behalf of the event organiser. When you buy a ticket, your contract to attend the event is with the organiser, who is responsible for the event itself and for its event level terms. Our agreement with you is for the ticketing and payment services we provide.

For some events listed on the platform, On Tick Ltd is itself the organiser, in which case we act in both capacities. We will always make clear who the organiser is.

3 Your account

You can browse events without an account, but you need one to buy tickets or, as an organiser, to list events. To register and to buy tickets you must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.

  • Provide accurate information. Booking confirmations and tickets are sent to the email address on the order, so please check it is correct.
  • Keep your login details secure and do not share them. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • We may suspend or close an account where these terms are broken or where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

4 Buying tickets

You select your tickets and complete checkout. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. If we are unable to accept an order, for example because tickets are no longer available or there has been a pricing error, we will let you know and will not charge you, or will refund any payment taken.

Ticket prices are set by the organiser and shown on the event page, and include VAT where it applies. Any booking or service fee is shown before you pay. While we aim to keep all pricing accurate, we are not obliged to honour an obvious pricing error.

5 Payment

You can pay at checkout using the methods made available to you. For some events, options to spread the cost across instalments may be offered. Where they are, the payment schedule and any applicable terms or charges are shown to you before you confirm, and apply to that order.

Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details. You remain responsible for paying the full amount due for your order.

6 Your tickets

  • Tickets are digital and are sent to the email address on the order. You can show your ticket on a smartphone or print it.
  • Each ticket has a unique code. Keep it private. A ticket may be refused if its code has already been used or appears to be invalid or duplicated.
  • Tickets are sold for personal use. You must not resell a ticket for more than you paid, or sell tickets in the course of a business, without the organiser's permission. Tickets sold in breach of these terms may be cancelled.
  • Any specific name, ID, or transfer rules will be set out on the event page.

7 Refunds and cancellations

Tickets are for events on a set date. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the usual 14 day right to cancel does not apply to tickets for leisure events booked for a specific date, so tickets are generally non refundable once your order is confirmed. Please book carefully.

You are entitled to a refund where an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, or is changed so significantly that it is materially different from what you booked, and otherwise where the law requires. If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will normally remain valid for the new date.

Refunds for third party events are subject to the organiser's terms, and we process them on the organiser's behalf where we act as agent. Where a refund is due, it will normally be made to your original payment method.

8 At the event

Admission is subject to the organiser's and the venue's terms and rules, usually set out on the event page, including any age limits, ID requirements, and prohibited items. The organiser or venue may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who behaves unsafely or breaks the rules. By attending, you accept that photographs or recordings may be taken at the event and that your image may appear in them.

9 Liability

We provide the platform with reasonable care and skill. Where we act as agent, we are not responsible for the event itself or the conduct of the organiser, and claims about the event should be directed to the organiser.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for consumer rights that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach, and our total liability to you in connection with an order will not exceed the amount you paid us for that order.

10 Intellectual property

The On Tick name, logo, and platform content are owned by On Tick Ltd or our licensors. You may use the platform for your own personal, non commercial purposes. You may not copy or reuse our content or branding without our permission. Event content provided by organisers remains theirs.

11 Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. Please read it alongside these terms.

12 General

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place it, and the current version is always available here. These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
